We watched Sony's CES 2021 digital event so you didn't have to. While last year's showcase debuted the official PlayStation 5 logo and broke social media records, there was nothing to speak of this time around. Boss Jim Ryan was in attendance to speak of the diverse range of players PlayStation attracts as well as comment on the console's incredibly successful launch, but that's about as far as it went. Not that we expected any different, of course. CES is rarely the place for gaming announcements.
"When we set out to launch PlayStation 5, our vision was to transform entertainment through deeper, immersive experiences and new technology that heightens emotions for players. We drew on 25 years of experience in R&D and a deep respect for our community to develop a true next-generation console: PlayStation 5." Ryan then goes on to highlight launch titles Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Sackboy: A Big Adventure before touching on Horizon Forbidden West. That is, of course, a big one for the future.
